GeoScience Engineers, LLC seeks an Accountant.

Job Description:

  • Record, verify, consolidate, and reconcile transactions.

  • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries.

  • Prepare weekly cash flow statements and manage expenditure and cash flow.

  • Manage all account payables and receivables.

  • Maintain subsidiary accounts, including verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.

  • Maintain general ledger.

  • Prepare financial status reports for management.

  • Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other statements.

  • Assist in the completion of external audits.

  • Advise on estimates for project funding.

  • Manage month end closing of the general ledger and accounting books.

  • Review and reconcile bank statement versus the accounting books.

  • Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews.

  • Provide invoices to clients and manage payments and collections.

  • Secure financial information using appropriate security, technologies and backups.

 

Requires:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, equivalent or related and 24 months related accounting experience.

Construction Materials Technician (multiple positions available)

​Job Description:

  • Testing, sampling and review of including, but not limited to soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, asphalt and structural steel placement

  • Check forms while concrete is being placed

  • Work with hand tools and power tools

  • Prepare field and lab inspection and resting reports

  • Communicate with Project Managers, CMT Supervisors, contractors regarding construction issues

Skills Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, co-workers - both verbal and written

  • Ability to work outside, in all types of weather conditions, in an office or lave environment

  • Ability to travel and work overtime when needed

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Valid driver's license is required

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred

  • ACI certification and Nuclear Density Gauge certification preferred

  • Pay based upon experience and certifications.
